Ready Set GO Therapy – Friendship Explorations & Camps

Ready Set GO Therapy – Friendship Explorations & Camps offers activities that include Kindergarten Readiness Camps, Confident Readers Camps, obstacle courses, crafts, and games. The program uses a great gym space for these activities.

Corry founded Friendship Explorations in 2015 and brought Friendship Explorations to Ready Set GO Therapy in the spring of 2020. The mission of Ready Set GO Therapy – Friendship Explorations & Camps is stated as “Empowering kids to lead joyful lives.” The leadership team includes Leigh Burkey – OTR/L, Co-Founder/Executive Director; Jamie Close – MSOT, OTR/L – Executive Director; Corry – MOT, OTR/L – Director of Outdoor Programming, Friendship Explorations; Danielle – M.S., CCC-SLP – Speech Therapist, Speech Director; Gigi – MSOT, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist, OT Director; and Nicolette – MSOT, OTR/L – Occupational Therapist, OT Clinical Coordinator. The staff includes occupational and speech therapists, including Danielle, who received the Distinguished Early Career Professional award from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Unique features of the program include Friendship Explorations outdoor programming, a background in environmental education integrated with pediatric occupational therapy, therapy conducted in a great gym space, and a combination of occupational and speech therapy services. Parents describe Ready Set GO Therapy as a pediatric occupational therapy center with thorough assessments and treatments that are sensitive to the individual needs of each child, and they report that kids participate in obstacle courses, crafts, and games during sessions.
