About
Call of the Sea offers youth day camps, field trips and overnight sails, focusing on sailing, marine science, and maritime history. Participants take part in hoisting the sails, marine science research and art activities as part of a classroom on the water experience. We also offer public sails for all ages.
- Day Camps run Monday-Fridays, for Winter and Spring breaks, and in the Summer
- Youth overnights in summer
- School Field Trips Tuesdays-Fridays
- Matthew Turner sails most weekends Friday–Sunday for the public
Our mission is to expand ocean access and deepen understanding of marine conservation and nautical heritage. We empower students of all ages and backgrounds to become environmental stewards and transform their world through science-based learning experiences on board our traditionally rigged tall ships, the brigantine Matthew Turner and schooner Seaward.
