SCBC Sailing Summer Camp 2026

Sausalito Community Boating Center (SCBC)’s Sailing Summer Camp is designed for children ages 10-14 who are eager to learn how to sail small boats. Campers will gain a strong foundation in sailing fundamentals while prioritizing safety and having fun on the water.

August 3-7 or 10-14 // 9am-3pm, M-F

In addition to hands-on sailing instruction, campers will enjoy games and interactive lessons covering:

• maritime history
• local marine life
• weather patterns
• traditional boat construction

No prior sailing experience is required; however, participants should feel comfortable being in and around the water.

Campers should bring a bag lunch, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Snacks and all other equipment will be provided.

Scholarships are available for Marin families, on a rolling basis, for those that qualify as low income (or less) on the Marin Housing guidelines. If your family does not qualify under income guidelines but have special circumstances and are in need we encourage you to apply and outline those circumstances.
