Mission Springs Outdoor Education offers hands-on science classes that include redwood ecology, stream ecology, environmental stewardship, solar energy, organic gardening, astronomy, and marine field trips. The program also includes team-building activities as part of its classes for students.
• Ages: 9–12 years old
Mission Springs Outdoor Education utilizes hands-on science and team-building activities to foster positive student relationships and promote good environmental stewardship. Class topics focus on the natural sciences, environmental stewardship, and team-building and have been tailored to support the California Science Standards for 5th and 6th grade. Mission Springs Outdoor Education serves both public and private schools in Northern and Central California. The Naturalist team of Mission Springs Outdoor Education is comprised of recent college graduates who are passionate about educating 5th and 6th-grade students about the natural world.
