Santa Cruz Boxing offers boxing, kickboxing, and Rock Steady Boxing classes. Kids boxing classes are available, and kickboxing classes are held on specific evenings and Saturday mornings. Rock Steady Boxing is offered for individuals with Parkinson's with a focus on wellness and community.

Santa Cruz Boxing was launched in 2013 by founder Brian Dunniway. The leadership team includes founder Brian Dunniway and boxing coach Cesar Moreno. Brian Dunniway is a certified personal trainer who studied Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at SDSU and has trained in Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, and boxing. Cesar Moreno has trained and competed in MMA since age 7, added boxing at 16, and later trained in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and grappling before competing in California’s amateur MMA circuit. Santa Cruz Boxing is affiliated with USA Boxing and IKF for amateur competition. The program states that its mission is to guide each fighter’s story with expert coaching, real boxing fundamentals, and a community that pushes and supports participants. The gym offers a “No Sweat Intro,” which is a 30-minute sit down to learn about goals and match participants with a program, and provides sparring for members on Wednesdays at 7 PM and on the first Saturday of the month with matches set up by the instructor and safety measures enforced. Participants need hand wraps and boxing gloves, with hand wraps included in a first class special or available for purchase, loaner gloves available for the first visit only, and specific rules about footwear on the mat.
