Santa Cruz Language Institute Online Language Programs

Santa Cruz Language Institute Online Language Programs offers live online language classes that include activities such as cooking in other languages, movie nights, music extravaganzas, field trips, and travels abroad. The program offers Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, English, and more through 6–week live online group courses and a 30 minute free trial class. Classes are available for adults, teenagers, pre-teens, kids only, and kids and parents together.

The Santa Cruz Language Institute states that its mission is to teach languages for communication and give language students access to the communities of the world. The program describes a commitment to help students, professionals, companies, and organizations bridge linguistic gaps, build and expand their network, and integrate in the communities where they work. Classes are taught by highly qualified native teachers, and the leadership team includes Ariel Pérez (Lecturer of Spanish at UCSC), Michelle Barbosa (Spanish language consultant and teacher), Natalie (English teacher), Nadia (teacher, licentiate in Psycho-pedagogy), Marie (French teacher), Asunción (Spanish teacher), Elisa (Italian teacher), Valentin (Spanish and English teacher), and Joséphine (French teacher). Ariel is a certified Oral Proficiency Interview tester for ACTFL and DLI.
