About the provider

Ives Pool is run by Western Sonoma County Swimmers, a nonprofit organization that works closely with the City of Sebastopol. Board members are volunteers and are elected every two years. Intro to Guarding is taught by an experienced lifeguard. The swim lessons are designed to encourage a lifetime of safety, fun, and fitness in and around the water, and water safety is the primary reason to learn to swim.

All cancellations will be charged an $8 processing fee. Classes may not be cancelled or rescheduled less than two weeks prior to the first class. When registering for multiple sessions, sign up for the same level. Students learn at their own paces; it is common to remain at the same level for a summer. Swimmers registered for a class they are not qualified for will be placed in the correct class only if there is a vacancy. Please read the class descriptions carefully.
