Kind Hearts Academy

Kind Hearts Academy includes experiential learning programs where children take part in STEM projects, animal care, gardening, and ongoing projects. The program also includes field trips and adventures to local parks and farms, and children have chances to create games and explore subjects they want to learn more about but do not have time for during the school year. Kind Hearts Academy offers both a preschool program and an after-school program that includes curriculum support, school continuity, additional tutoring, and play-based learning with an experiential focus.

The preschool program at Kind Hearts Academy is described as providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children, typically ages 2 to 5, can explore, learn, and develop essential skills for future success. The after-school program is described as providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children, with a variety of enrichment activities that complement their school day, including transportation from school and customizable schedules. The program’s values are summarized as H.E.A.R.T: Home (openness, equality, feeling of family), Exposure (broadening views, skills, community, knowledge, creativity), Adventure (experiences, field trips, enthusiasm for exploration in nature), Responsibility (trust, reliability, safety), and Transparency (welcoming parent involvement in the community). The program dedicates a lot of time to social emotional development and practice of skills during daily conversations about big feelings, using kind words, how friends are treated, and offering tools to help in difficult situations.
