Mt. Gilead Summer Camp offers week-long summer camp programs that are intentionally designed to help campers experience God and have fun at the same time. During the summer it provides these week-long camp experiences for youth as part of its broader Christian camp and conference ministry.

Mt. Gilead Summer Camp is part of a Christian camp and conference center whose core mission is to support the local Christian church and share the hope found in Jesus Christ with campers who attend its programs. The ministry of the camp is founded upon the Word of God and personal faith in Jesus Christ. It offers innovative programs that bring together multiple generations and provides hands-on leadership development training for high schoolers. Mt. Gilead rents its facilities to churches and other Christian organizations, hosts its own summer camps for children from 1st–12th grade, and throughout the year hosts Christian programs for adults, as well as Christian schools and other ministries that use Mt. Gilead for their own retreats. The organization states that it aims to provide a refreshing, relaxing and beautiful environment and desires to serve guests as Christ would, with kindness, compassion and joy. Mt. Gilead is affiliated with Mt. Gilead Bible Camp.
