Sebastopol Sea Serpents offers swim team tryouts for young swimmers. Tryouts are held by reservation only, and dates and times are posted on the program’s Schedule page. Registrations are open, and the team holds tryouts for new swimmers throughout the year.

The Sebastopol Sea Serpents states that its mission is to offer young swimmers a supportive place to get exercise, gain strength, compete and challenge themselves year round. According to the mission, team members gain a lifelong involvement in swimming through positive experiences, personal achievement, team spirit, sportsmanship and friendships. The team is supported with high participation from the local swim community, team member families, the SSS Board and sponsors, and it provides the team with excellent and dedicated coaches. Laurie Felciano serves as the Safe Sport Coordinator. Information on how to deal with a concern is available through USA Swimming, the Safe Sport Coordinator is available by email, and families can contact the U.S. Center for Safe Sport to make a report.
