The Great Burro Studios offers weekly private lessons for piano, voice, song-writing, guitar, bass, drums, and ukulele. The program also includes Rock Band Camp, Diva Camp, and the option to record an album, EP, demo, or other musical composition in a studio setting. In addition, the studio provides group music and movement classes with kids from 6 months old and up.

The Great Burro Studios has been running summer camps since 2004. The studio’s founder and primary music instructor, Spencer Burrows, has a music education from Sonoma State University and a certificate from Berklee College of Music in Boston. His teaching experience includes guiding group music and movement classes with kids from 6 months old and up, and his instruction covers basic music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm, pitch, improvisation, and his stated philosophies of “honor, respect, communication, dedication, and FUN!” In his teaching, Spencer focuses on each student as their own artist and often encourages songwriting and performing.
The leadership team includes Spencer Burrows as founder and primary music instructor and Diana Walker as vocal coach and piano instructor. Spencer’s music career with Frobeck (2005–2018) and The Big Fit (2019) received multiple nominations, winning Best R&B Band from the Bohemian in 2019 and Best Rock Band in 2008, and The Big Fit is a NORBAY winner. The studio describes its mission as specializing in music instruction, performance, experience, and awareness.
