Transitional Kindergarten–6th Grade Program

The Transitional Kindergarten–6th Grade Program includes Transitional Kindergarten and a Kindergarten–6th Grade Program. Transitional Kindergarten meets Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm and uses a nature-based outdoor classroom with a 6-to-1 child-to-staff ratio and a maximum of 15 children.

About the provider

Pleasant Hill Christian School began in the summer of 1982, and the first PHCS class was in 1982-83. The mission is to provide children with a challenging and exciting atmosphere for acquiring knowledge that would be conducive to the development of Christian character and spiritual development. The school is an outreach ministry of Occidental Community Church and is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.

Admissions require a school tour and visit with principal, a completed online application, an academic skills assessment test to determine grade placement, agreement to support PHCS policies and procedures, and meeting financial obligations. Tuition and fees are listed for 2026-27, with payment plans available. Late fee is $25 after the 10th of the month. Past due accounts 60 days past due can result in dismissal until current. Withdrawal fee is $75 after September 10. Gifts and donations are tax deductible; tuition is not.
