About
WESCO United Soccer Club offers a range of soccer activities, including a Recreational Soccer League, a Select Soccer League, Challenger Summer Camps, a summer soccer program, week long summer camps, a Kickstart Program, and Summer & Winter Programs. The club also runs specific camps such as the Fundamental Skills Camp and the Female Development Camp, and organizes the Apple Classic Tournament. Select teams participate in NorCal Premier Leagues and tournaments, including the NorCal Fall League and optional NorCal Spring League and regional tournaments.

WESCO United offers a Recreational Soccer League in the fall with divisions sorted by two-year age groupings from Under-Six (U6) to Under-Sixteen (U16). For the very youngest players, divisions are organized around elementary schools, and for Under-Ten (U10) through Under-Sixteen (U16) players, teams are formed through drafts based on League evaluations. The Select League is the travel side of the program, with Select teams playing a longer season in the NorCal Fall League against other clubs’ competitive soccer teams. There are over 1000 youth soccer players in WESCO United and more than 600 games played each year.
Every year, WESCO United partners with Challenger Sports to offer a summer soccer program. The club’s mission statement is that WESCO United aims to provide a safe, fair, and fun soccer experience for the children in western Sonoma county. WESCO United is a non-profit public benefit corporation supported by player registration fees and donations from local business and professional enterprises, and the success of WESCO is dependent on the work of volunteers both on the field and behind the scenes. The WESCO office is currently open by appointment only.
The leadership team includes Office Manager Kathryn Walkley, Assistant Office Manager Tiffany Avila, WESCO President Patrick Turner, Apple Classic Tournament Director Steve Yob, WESCO Recreational Director of Coaching Megan Bloom, and WESCO Select Director of Coaching Brian Heacock.
