Wildflowers Nature School

Wildflowers Nature School offers a Summer Camp 2025 session called Wildflowers Nature School where children take part in nature-based learning. The program is described as a nature-based preschool and includes homeschool and nature-based learning programs.

Owner/Director Bev Buswell leads Wildflowers Nature School. She has been involved in educating kids in different settings for 40 years and holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Education, with extensive formal training in nature connection and nature education. Her background includes beginning as a teenager volunteering for the National and local Park Services, leading high adventure scouting groups for 15 years, and teaching gardening and environmental education at public schools. The program operates under License # 493007259. The mission of Wildflowers Nature School states that, by running with the natural exuberant wonder of a child towards nature, the program nurtures imagination, inquisitiveness, confidence, creativity, and a connection to, gratitude for and understanding of the world around them, and that by fostering a love of nature, practices of stewardship and sustainable living will eventually be driven by the children.
