Gold Arrow Camp is a traditional summer camp where campers take part in activities such as wake boarding, horseback riding, and rock climbing. Campers experience rustic living with the backdrop of the Sierra National Forest and participate in both wilderness and water activities. The camp is located on a cove of Huntington Lake at an altitude of 7,000 feet.

Gold Arrow Camp has been a summer home to thousands of children since 1933. Its mission statement is “Preparing Young People for Life's Challenges.” The camp is operated under a Special Use Permit from the USDA Forest Service on the Sierra National Forest in California.
Yosemite National Park is 30 miles to the north of Gold Arrow Camp, and Kings Canyon National Park is 25 miles to the southeast. Gold Arrow Camp is 65 miles northeast of Fresno, California, and it takes approximately 1.5 hours to drive from Fresno to camp. Staffed charter buses transport campers to and from camp with stops in Northern and Southern California, and campers also fly to and from Fresno Yosemite Airport. Parents can also drive campers either to or from camp, and pick up at the end of the camp session is in the morning. The camp recommends that campers take one of the charter buses on the way to camp, as the bus trip provides an opportunity to start meeting campers and staff.
According to camp data, 100% of campers report making at least one new friend. Camp directors have a combined 136 years of experience. In the most recent summer referenced, 95 five-year blankets were awarded, and 57% of staff members were former Gold Arrow Camp campers.
