Kuk Sool Won Family Martial Arts offers traditional Korean martial arts training that includes kicks, punches, conditioning, board breaking, heart-themed board breaking, and TRX Suspension Training. The program includes a free introductory lesson and offers both in-person and Zoom training options.

Kuk Sool Won Family Martial Arts was founded in 2010 by Christopher Wilson. Kuk Sool Won is a traditional Korean martial art that was created in 1958 by Kuk Sa Nim In Hyuk Suh in South Korea, and the World Kuk Sool Association was established in 1975. The school was originally established in North Hollywood and later relocated to Sherman Oaks. Christopher began his martial arts teaching career in 2000 leading summer camps in South Carolina and continued this work after moving to California in 2004.
Christopher Wilson is a 5th-degree black belt in Kuk Sool Won, a licensed instructor, and a member of the World Kuk Sool Association. He holds a certificate in “Autism 101” from the Autism Society of America, is certified in Pediatric, Adult, and Child CPR and First Aid, and is TRX Suspension Training Certified. He is the founder of KMAP (Kids Martial Arts Program) and founder of WILLSONG Family.
The mission of Kuk Sool Won Family Martial Arts is to celebrate creativity and traditional philosophies while building foundation and focus. The program states that its goal is to equip students with life skills on and off the mat and to build a positive mindset that fosters problem-solving and strategic thinking. It was founded with the stated mission to improve lives through the art of traditional martial arts.
