Valley Martial Arts Center Kids Program

Valley Martial Arts Center Kids Program offers martial arts training that includes Shotokan karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Budoshin self-defense, karate, Jiu-Jitsu, and self-defense classes. The program includes options for both karate and Jiu-Jitsu within its martial arts training.

• Ages: 5–18 years old

VMAC has been providing instruction since 2010 and was founded by three karate black belts. The owners are Jon Budd, Taichiro Kaijima, and Eiko Murata. Instructors in the program are highly skilled, have decades of experience, and are described as dedicated to helping their students reach their fullest potential. The instructors are direct students of Hidetaka Nishiyama, and the program is a member of the World Budo Karate Association, a national traditional karate federation that follows the sensei Nishiyama system of principles. The program has grown to include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Budoshin self-defense for kids, and it offers private lessons and a family discount when more than one student from the same household enrolls. The stated mission is to help participants discover the many benefits of martial arts training, and the program expresses a goal of bettering the lives of many people in the community and worldwide.
