Southern California Taekwondo Center

Southern California Taekwondo Center offers traditional Taekwondo classes for kids and adults, with separate classes for different belt levels such as Kids TKD White/Yellow/Purple, Orange/Green, Blue/Blue Stripe, and Brown-Black, as well as Adult TKD. The program also includes a Little Tigers class for 3–4-year-olds and fitness kickboxing classes for teens and adults, including a kickboxing option. Private lessons are available, and a free trial class is offered, not valid with any other discounts or offers.

• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Saturday, including Little Tigers on Tuesday afternoons; Kids TKD belt-level classes on various weekday afternoons and Saturday late mornings to early afternoons; Adult TKD on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, Monday and Tuesday/Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings; and kickboxing on weekday mornings and evenings and Saturday mornings.
• Price: Taekwondo program for adults and kids (5 years and up) is $155 per month for up to 3 classes per week or $105 per month for 1 class per week; fitness kickboxing single class/drop-in is $20; a free trial class is available and not valid with any other discounts or offers.

Southern California Taekwondo Center states its philosophy and goal as “Hard work. Fun. Discipline.” and states that its goal is to help participants achieve their martial arts, fitness, and personal goals, including goals such as earning a Black Belt in Taekwondo, finding a different workout, or seeking more confidence or self-discipline. The program is led by Master Scot Lewis, a 4th Dan Black Belt certified with the Kukkiwon in Korea, who has been training in Taekwondo for 30 years and Boxing for 10 years.
