• Champions — 9-17 · $162 per month · Length: 1 hour 45 minutes. Well-rounded training across vault, bars, beam, and floor, with tumble-trampoline, advanced conditioning, and proper technique.
• All Star Boys — 6-17 · $152 per month · Length: 1 hour 15 minutes. Boys' gymnastics class focused on strength, power, coordination, conditioning, tumbling, and men's events including floor exercise, rings, vault, and parallel bars.
• Ninja — 4-17 · $124 per month · Length: 45 minutes. High-energy class blending gymnastics tumbling and agility with obstacle course training; no experience required.
• Skills Day — 5+ · A summer activity dedicated to gymnastics. Open to students 5+ to explore skills, practice new moves, and enjoy a fun, active environment.
• Hot Shots & Super Shots — 4-9+ · Invitation-only competitive program for gymnasts who show strong potential, focus, and enthusiasm. Prepares athletes for Compulsory or Xcel competitive teams.
• Compulsory Team — Level 2-5 · Competitive gymnastics following the USA Gymnastics Developmental Program with structured routines on vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise.
• Optionals Team — Level 6-10 · Advanced stage of the USA Gymnastics Developmental Program with custom routines highlighting individual strengths, skills, and performance style.
• XCEL TEAM — Bronze-Sapphire · Flexible competitive pathway with customized routines on vault, bars, beam, and floor.

About the provider

American Gymnastics Academy was established in 1989. The program is led by owners Shane and Carol. Its mission is dedicated to building strong, confident athletes through comprehensive gymnastics instruction and to instill life lessons. The academy lists National Champions and collegiate athletic scholarships from Cal Berkley, UC Davis, UCSB, Cal State Fullerton, Boise State, UCLA, San Jose State, and Arizona Christian. It also states that Signal Hill is its home and that all 800+ students are an integral part of its family.

Placement in competitive programs is based on skill level, physical readiness, work ethic, and coach evaluation.
