On Deck Batting Cages offers batting cages along with baseball and softball lessons, including private lessons and group clinics for pitching, catching, and fielding. The program also offers speed and power training, gym and performance training, and access to the AthPro360 sport testing program. Additional services include custom glove re-stringing and restoring, breaking in new gloves, and building fully custom gloves from scratch.

On Deck Batting Cages operates in a 24,000 square foot facility that includes 14 indoor batting cage lanes, a turfed infield, sports medicine, and apparel and equipment. The program describes itself as Long Beach’s #1 batting cages and training facility and a one-stop shop for batting cages, a charter school, private lessons, clinics, speed and power training, apparel, and equipment. The staff are described as strictly-vetted professionals with many decades of experience. It is a family business owned by Mike, Rose, and Michael Rogers, and the mission states that the original goal of giving every customer a batting cage they can call home has expanded into the current multi-service facility.
On Deck opened its doors over a decade ago, and the dream began with a single, jury-rigged backyard batting cage over twenty years ago. The EM Academics Program connected with the facility is a fully accredited 6th–12th grade charter school that pairs academics with performance and skill training, and EM Speed & Power provides performance-based speed, strength, and agility training. The facility features state of the art pitching machines and all of the equipment necessary to take hitting or pitching to the next level, and it notes a genuine community and family-style service.
