The Jazz Angels Youth Programs offer studio semester sessions that focus on jazz education through learning, rehearsing, and performing music. Participants take part in once-weekly jazz lessons, rehearsals, and live public performances, including studio programs that are organized into 6–8 bands based on ability and supported by jazz mentors during rehearsals and performances. The program also includes homeschool and in-school programs, as well as the Jazz Legacy Program, where students learn about famous jazz artists, play special arrangements of well-known songs, and perform transcribed solos.

The Jazz Angels Youth Programs describe their mission as using the transformative power of music to develop and enrich young people, while preserving the legacy of jazz and global heritage music, and state that their in-school and community programs nurture the whole child from all economic backgrounds while addressing emotional, social, and behavioral stress, enhancing self-esteem through pedagogy and community engagement. The organization currently offers three programs to increase accessibility for young musicians in the Long Beach, Orange County, and greater Los Angeles area, including in-school programs in the Paramount Unified School District that reach over 200 middle school music students through once-weekly jazz lessons as part of regular music class instruction.
