Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark & Simi Valley Summer Programs include summer fun, enrichment activities, special events, sports, high-yield games, academic games, special interest clubs, and field trips. Members are placed in groups according to their age, and each group has its own staff group leader who takes them from activity to activity throughout most of the day. Field trips are offered at both clubhouses on a first come, first served basis, and additional fees vary by field trip.
• Schedule: Program runs for 8 weeks in the summer with clubhouse hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Price: Annual membership required $25 all ages; $35 summer registration fee
The Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark & Simi Valley states that ensuring child safety is a top priority through layers of safety policies such as First Aid and CPR training, building security, supervision and classroom management, safety drills, and following current county Covid guidance, and most staff are CPR and first aid certified. All program staff and group leaders are supervised by full-time Boys & Girls Club professionals, and all staff are trained in the guiding principles and philosophy of the Boys & Girls Club organization and are committed to fulfilling the Club's mission. The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Moorpark & Simi Valley is to provide a year round, positive, safe, healthy, fun and educational environment that inspires and enables all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. The organization gives special thanks to its corporate champions: Los Robles, UCLA Health, Sprouts, and Adventist Health.
