Happy Swimmers is dedicated to making as many pools safe as possible throughout the US and offers to work with disadvantaged programs, home-school programs, or government assistance programs, including filling out any needed paperwork. One parent reported that a Happy Swimmers lifeguard at a 6th birthday party pulled their 2-year-old daughter from underwater when the pool was crowded and stated that the guard saved her life. Another parent described two Happy Swimmers lifeguards at a fourth grade end-of-year pool party as on time, prepared, responsible, and knowledgeable. A trainee shared that they used first aid skills learned from Happy Swimmers on a family member who had an allergic reaction and went into shock. Multiple parents described instructors, including Emma and Trisha, as able to work with different personalities and levels of swimming experience, and reported that their children learned water safety skills such as climbing out of the pool and asking permission before getting in, and in some cases learned to swim within a few weeks. Another client who hired a private lifeguard for a party of over 200 people stated that the guard confirmed in advance, arrived on time despite a blackout from storms, stayed later than scheduled when the party went over, and that they would recommend Happy Swimmers.
