Bill Grossman's School of Kenpo Karate offers practical self defense, hand and weapons form training, health and fitness conditioning, competition training, and sparring training. The program also includes seminars, workshops, and woman's self defense classes, and provides DVD demos, a dojo video tour, and student videos and photos, including 2011 tournament videos, online.

Bill Grossman's School of Kenpo Karate is a qualified school of the Kenpo Karate System, the American martial art based on aspects of Asian martial systems. The school was established in 1978. Kenpo in this program is described as a practical form of self defense that uses kicking and hand techniques, with concepts that include blocking and counterstrikes to vital organs and pressure points using linear and circular strikes and intermittent bursts of speed and power, and it teaches defense against multiple attackers in real life situations. The school offers three programs for children. Grandmaster Bill Grossman, Grandmaster Pati Grossman, Senior Grandmaster Rick Alemany, and Professor Remy Presas are listed in the leadership and instructional lineage for the program. Bill Grossman began training in the Kenpo Karate System in November 1971 under Senior Grandmaster Rick Alemany, earned a student black belt after five years, started teaching in 1978 while continuing his studies, and now holds the rank of 10th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and a teaching certificate in Modern Arnis from Professor Remy Presas. In addition to Kenpo and Arnis, he teaches Iaido and Wing Chun Kung-Fu weapons including Bo, Chinese Broad Sword, Tonfa, and Kamas. His achievements include multiple “Competitor of the Year” and “Official of the Year” awards from the California Karate League and A.M.A.P.A., more than 500 black belt trophies, Forms Grand Champion titles at events such as the Super Star Nationals and The Golden Gate Karate Championship, first-place finishes at tournaments including the San Francisco Championship and West Coast Nationals, and placements at national events such as the Battle of Atlanta and the Diamond Nationals. He has been rated in regional and national rankings in forms and weapons, previously promoted three annual tournaments, and was inducted into the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame on August 7, 2004, in the Pioneer Award category.
