St Helena Choral Society

The St Helena Choral Society offers the St Helena Children's Chorus for children ages 8 to 12 and the St Helena Teen Choir for local teenagers. Craig Bond and Melissa Bond teach choral principles and direct the youth choirs, and students perform concerts, participate in competitions, and take part in occasional special events.

Programs

• St Helena Children's Chorus — children ages 8 to 12 · Craig Bond and Melissa Bond teach choral principles and direct this choir. Students perform two to three concerts a year, participate in competitions, and occasional special events.
• St Helena Teen Choir — local teenagers · Craig Bond and Melissa Bond teach choral principles and direct this choir. It showcases local teenagers and often performs in conjunction with the St. Helena Children's Chorus.
• St Helena Chamber Singers — adult chorus · A 70-voice adult chorus directed by Craig Bond. It presents major choral works with orchestral accompaniment and produces two concerts each year.
• Jazz@7 Vocal Ensemble — small, invitation-only group · Craig Bond directs this vocal jazz ensemble. It performs three to five concerts each year and smaller shows at local wineries.
• Annual A Cappella Festival Workshop & Performance — A two-day singing workshop that culminates in a performance. The St Helena Choral Society has partnered with the Fabulous House Jacks and the St Helena High School Choir.

About the provider

The St Helena Choral Society was formed as a nonprofit in 2007, and its performance history goes back to 1979. Craig Bond is the choral director and artistic director, and Melissa Bond co-directs the youth choirs with him. The society serves the St Helena, Napa Valley community and also offers the Jazz@7 Vocal Ensemble, the St Helena Chamber Singers, and an annual A Cappella Festival Workshop & Performance.
