About

Expanded Learning Programs offer before school, after school, summer, and intersession programs that support students beyond the school day. Through ELO-P, the programs are student-centered, engaging, and focused on academic growth and overall well-being. The programs create safe spaces where students build confidence and discover their strengths, and they include Legacy Sports, which uses athletics as a platform with structured training, mentorship, and competitive play, as well as the A.I.M. Mentoring Program, a structured peer-to-peer youth development initiative.

• Ages: 4–13 years old

Expanded Learning Programs are part of The Table Community Foundation (TCF), a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by Tyronne and Raquel Gross. The mission of the organization is to create a better world through change in youth, one community at a time, with core values of LOVE, SERVE, UNITE. TCF operates across 40 school sites in multiple school districts throughout San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties and serves more than 23,000 students weekly through expanded learning programs and its community center model. By partnering with schools, districts, families, and community leaders, the organization connects families to resources, relationships, and opportunities for growth, and hosts experiences and community-driven initiatives through its community center to support youth development and family access to essential resources. The A.I.M. Mentoring Program is designed to cultivate leadership, accountability, and personal growth among junior high and high school students, promoting positive behavior, academic engagement, and social-emotional development, while building life skills such as effective communication, goal setting, study strategies, organization, and decision-making.
