About
The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) offers expanded learning programs that support students beyond the school day. The program includes before school, after school, summer, and intersession options for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. These programs are student-centered, engaging, and focused on academic growth and overall well-being.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Before school, after school, summer, and intersession programs for Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade
The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) is part of The Table Community Foundation (TCF), a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by Tyronne and Raquel Gross. TCF’s mission is to create a better world through change in youth, one community at a time. What began as a small mentoring initiative has grown into an organization serving more than 23,000 students weekly through expanded learning programs and a community center model, operating across 40 school sites in multiple school districts throughout San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties.
Within TCF, Legacy Sports uses athletics as a platform to build character, confidence, and community. The A.I.M. Mentoring Program, founded in 2007, is a structured, peer-to-peer youth development initiative for junior high and high school students that focuses on leadership, accountability, and personal growth. TCF’s community impact initiatives connect families to resources, relationships, and opportunities for growth, and its expanded learning programs create safe spaces where students build confidence and discover their strengths. By partnering with schools, districts, families, and community leaders, TCF works to ensure every child has access to support, resources, and relationships.
