• Schedule: Children’s classes have options Monday–Friday in the late afternoon, and adult classes have evening options on Tuesday and Thursday.
ArtCircle Studio states that it provides a creative environment to develop individual art, explore techniques, mediums, and styles, and showcase artwork, with classes structured in a fun, relaxed, non-pressure setting and a personal and relaxed attitude in a constructive atmosphere. The studio offers teens and adults a retreat from everyday stress and worries, and offers children ages 6 and up freedom of creativity with tender guidance. The studio stages an annual art show for its artists where their work is on display for friends and family.
ArtCircle Studio’s mission states that art is an immense medium for expression and healing, that it enables expression beyond words, and that it allows sharing of perceptions and views from individual vantage points. The program notes that art has often been a meditative experience for Deepti.
The studio is led by Deepti, who earned a Master’s Degree in Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a certificate in Fine Arts, and has learnt and created art since childhood. Deepti has explored art with a number of teachers across regions in India and the US, and her strength areas are drawing, oil and acrylic painting, watercolor, and sketching.
ArtCircle Studio includes quotes in its materials, such as Albert Einstein’s “Art is standing with one hand extended into the universe and one hand extended into the world, and letting ourselves be a conduit for passing energy,” Bill Hewlett’s quote about creativity and younger people questioning past wisdom and authority, and Leonardo da Vinci’s “Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no art.”
