Building Kidz of Sunnyvale uses a proprietary performing arts curriculum that fully integrates music, dance, and theater into age-appropriate development standards. It also uses a Learning Through Life Experiences (LTLE) curriculum that makes learning experimental, imaginative, and sensory based, with materials for kinesthetic, audial, visual, and touch learners. The program offers monthly meal plans with nutrient-dense choices provided daily and is a small school focusing care on a limited number of pre-K aged children. An after school program includes robotics, sculpting, and performing arts.

The school is part of a locally owned and operated network of preschools, child care, and daycare centers throughout the U.S., and its children exceed the entry level academic expectations of elementary schools in the community. Building Kidz Worldwide dedicates 25% of profits to its non-profit, Building Futures Worldwide, which supports orphaned and abandoned children, children with hearing disabilities or vision impairment, and children with juvenile diabetes. The organization also states a dedication of 25% of profits to non-profit partnerships focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children.

The mission of Building Kidz of Sunnyvale is to create a local community where children are challenged intellectually, become empowered and interested in lifelong learning, and engage in the arts to accelerate the development of their Confidence, Commitment, and Character. The leadership team includes Owner Shruti Jain, and the organization traces its history to January 2003, when Vineeta opened the doors of its first school in Pacifica, California. Staff at the program have over a decade of experience in management and early childhood education.

Families describe Building Kidz of Sunnyvale as a place that many children call home and share that they love having their 3-year-old attend the daycare and school. One parent reports that the facility is new, that schools are sanitized daily, and that comprehensive safety protocols have been implemented, including deep cleanings every night and regular testing of teachers for COVID. The same parent notes that staff members Stefanie and Elissa were active in helping an 11-month-old child adjust, that the school shares many pictures and videos, and that staff notice and communicate about details such as small rashes or changes in temperament. Another family states that they love the low teacher-to-student ratio, the structured day with fun activities, and the use of the Brightwheel app to follow their child.
