SCEGA Gymnastics offers Girls Pre-Team, Boys Pre-Team, Junior Pre Team 1, Junior Pre Team 2, and XCEL Pre Team. Girls Pre-Team focuses on moving from a recreational program to a competitive one and is selected through an evaluation process by coaches. Boys Pre-Team is an invitational program for learning skills to progress to competition teams, with emphasis on basic skills, shaping, form, conditioning, and flexibility.

About the provider
SCEGA Gymnastics was established in 1989 and is celebrating 37 years. Its leadership team includes Kathy Washington as Office Manager, Kathy Strate as Girls Team Director, Ron Strate as Boys Team, and Pam Staten as XCEL Team Director. The mission statement says the program teaches young people the importance of an active lifestyle and uses gymnastics to develop fitness, character, self-confidence, and goal setting. The program’s credentials include Aaliyah Coleman becoming the 2026 Developmental Program National Vault, Beam, and All Around Champion, Aaliyah Coleman and Annabel Melnyk being named to the USA Gymnastics Level 10 National Team, and SCEGA sending 14 gymnasts to 2026 nationals.
