Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center

Wild Roots Holistic Learning Center includes device-free classrooms and outdoor spaces with wooded jungle gyms and gardens. Children play with animals and instruments, cook, garden, do yoga, and learn about different cultures. The program also offers Infant Care Center, The Sage Room, The Rosemary Room, Primary (Preschool), Kindergarten, Summer Camp, and Parent & Me Classes.

Programs

• Infant Care Center — 6 weeks to 12 months · A nurturing, peaceful start with gentle care, sensory exploration, outdoor time, and early independence woven into each day.
• The Sage Room — 12 - 24 Months · Young toddlers build confidence through movement, language, sensory exploration, practical life experiences, and meaningful opportunities to make choices within their classroom community.
• The Rosemary Room — 18 - 36 Months · Older toddlers are supported through individual achievements and a thoughtful environment.
• Primary (Preschool) — 2.5 - 5 Years · A rich, child-led environment where preschoolers build confidence, curiosity, social grace, and foundational skills through Montessori-inspired work, art, nature, and play.
• Kindergarten — 5 - 6 Years · A meaningful kindergarten year designed for leadership, deeper project work, advanced learning, creativity and the confidence that comes from being among the oldest children in the school.
• Summer Camp

About the provider

Wild Roots is a holistic, Montessori- and Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool for children from ages 6 weeks to 6 years. For over 10 years, families at the Temecula campus have chosen Wild Roots. Lidia has been teaching at Wild Roots since it opened in 2012, Brittany has more than 15 years of experience, and Margarita has been teaching for 21 years. The leadership team includes Brittany Stehle, M. Ed. as Founder & Head of School, Lidia Najera as Center Director, Margarita Juarez as Program Director, Taylor as Center Director at Wild Roots RSM, and Sydney as Assistant Director at Wild Roots RSM. The homepage also states that Wild Roots provides parent education, volunteer opportunities, family events, and classroom visits from family and community members who share their culture, special talent, or profession.

• Parent & Me Classes — Every second Thursday of the month, 3:15-4:00 PM · Parents and their children experience the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning together through hands-on activities.
