Temecula Valley Pop Warner Youth Football & Cheer offers youth football, cheerleading, and dance. The program includes over 35 years of youth football and brings organized youth football to the Temecula Valley area. It operates as a non-profit organization and is comprised solely of volunteers, including board members, coaches, support staff, and parents.
The mission of Temecula Valley Pop Warner is to enable its athletes to benefit from participation in football and cheerleading in a safe and structured environment, while teaching fundamental skills, values, and knowledge for use throughout their lives. The program’s philosophy is that academics and athletics go hand-in-hand. Pop Warner seeks to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn the fundamentals of football, cheerleading, and dance, as well as the importance of education, in an atmosphere focused on developing sound mind, body, and character. The general objectives of Temecula Valley Pop Warner are to inspire youth, regardless of race, creed, religion, or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness. The program stresses learning lessons such as self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership, and good sportsmanship. Temecula Valley Pop Warner is part of the West Coast Conference, Wescon Region Pop Warner, and National Pop Warner organizations.
Uniforms and equipment account for 40% of collected money allocations, field allocation and usage costs account for 26%, administrative costs account for 11%, Pop Warner West Coast Conference fees account for 10%, coaching expenses account for 8%, and trophies and pictures account for 5%.
