About

Dodgers Training Academy offers team training, skill sessions, camps, clinics, and private lessons focused on baseball and softball instruction. The program includes position-specific training in structured small-group settings and uses a coaching framework called R.E.I. (Relationship, Environment, Information). Training spaces are described as judgment-free environments and are rooted in the Dodgers tradition of excellence.

• Ages: 3–18 years old

Every instructor at Dodgers Training Academy has competed at the collegiate or professional level. The leadership team includes program managers Alex Pinedo (Division 1 college) and Scott Gracey (affiliated baseball), along with senior lead instructors Tony Liebsack (Division 1 college) and Ari Zagaris (affiliated baseball). Additional baseball instructors include Isaac Pinedo (JUCO college), Chris Villa Vicencio (JUCO college), Diego Alarcon (Division 1 college), Nick Gotta (Division 2 college), and Brett Fujii. The program’s mission is to provide every youth baseball athlete in Los Angeles with access to professional instruction, mentorship, and a clear development pathway on the field and in life. Dodgers Training Academy is a proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball, with a partnership that focuses on expanding access to high-quality youth baseball and softball instruction for players of all skill levels and socioeconomic backgrounds and supporting existing local youth sports ecosystems.
