Flight School Gymnastics was started in Torrance, CA in 2013 to fit the local needs of the growing sport of gymnastics. The program states that it offers a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow physically and mentally. Camps and classes take place in a 10,000 sq. ft. facility with free parking, and the gym describes its day camp as a one-of-a-kind kids’ day camp experience to the South Bay that is a place for all levels, from kids who are just learning about gymnastics to advanced. The camp notes that the more dates a family chooses, the more the discount starting after 3 dates, and that dates do not have to be consecutive. Flight School Gymnastics also offers day camp during school holiday closures and vacations.

The staff includes USAG Certified Instructors. Flight School Gymnastics offers competitive gymnastics for USAG levels 3–10 and Xcel, and its team program offers USA Gymnastics WDP and Xcel levels. The gym is home to numerous State, Regional, and National Champions, and its coaches are nationally recognized in the gymnastics community. The coaches report that they are proud to have numerous State, Regional, and National Champions and that they have helped several gymnasts become part of successful NCAA programs.

For camp, the dress code is a T-shirt and leggings or cotton shorts, or a leotard. Campers are asked to bring a lunch and a water bottle, and the program provides snacks.
