Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Torrance

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Torrance offers Gracie Bullyproof® for ages 3 to 12, Gracie Teens for ages 12 to 15, and Gracie Combatives® for ages 16 and up. Gracie Bullyproof® includes Mat Munchkins, Little Champs, and Jr. Grapplers, and Gracie Teens is described as a program that includes self-defense skills, discipline, and leadership. Gracie Combatives® is a beginner adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program with 36 essential self-defense techniques.

• Gracie Combatives® — 16 and up · Beginner adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program with 36 essential self-defense techniques. No experience necessary.
• Gracie Bullyproof® — 3 to 12 · Youth confidence and character development program. Includes Mat Munchkins (ages 3-5), Little Champs (ages 5-7), and Jr. Grapplers (ages 7-11).
• Gracie Teens — 12 to 15 · Designed to empower students with self-defense skills, discipline, and leadership in a supportive environment.
• Women Empowered® — 13 and up · Self-defense program for women and teens in a safe, supportive environment.
• Master Cycle® — students beyond white belt · Advanced adult curriculum for students who have completed Gracie Combatives®.

About the provider

Gracie University Headquarters in Torrance, California is the home of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and it is led by Ryron and Rener Gracie. The history provided says that in 1978, Hélio’s son, Rorion Gracie, brought this vision to the United States and established the original Gracie Academy in Torrance, CA. The mission statement says the school honors Grandmaster Hélio Gracie’s legacy to deliver accessible, safety-first jiu-jitsu programs for every demographic, with technique, compassion, and confidence.

New students can start with a risk-free, unlimited 10-day trial. Parents of minors must include their name and their child's birthdate on the form. No experience necessary for Gracie Combatives®, Gracie Bullyproof®, and Women Empowered®. To attend Master Cycle®, you must hold a rank above white belt.
