About
Dancing with RKDC offers classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. The program includes an optional recital, with participation described as optional but highly encouraged for students who enroll in classes.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Spring 2026 session begins March 30, with registration opening March 3 for residents and March 10 for non-residents; a student showcase is scheduled for March 18–20, 2026
• Price: Please note there are additional costs to participate in the recital such as costume fee, performance fee and show tickets. These costs are not included in the class registration fee.
Dancing with RKDC is the arts education arm of RKDC, serving the South Bay community for 24 years. It provides classes, workshops, and performance opportunities for K–12 students and offers classes for ages 3 and up in a non-competitive environment. The program operates in partnership with the City of Torrance and is committed to enriching the community through the art of dance. The leadership team includes Education Director Brianna Barron and Artistic Director Regina Klenjoski. The stated mission is to make sound dance training and performance accessible and affordable, nurture a staff of excellent teaching artists, and bring young people together through joy and movement in a non-competitive environment.
