American Top Team Traditions is Tracy's oldest martial arts training facility and opened its doors in 1998, with 20+ years in business and over 400 members. The program has six staff members plus eight assistants. The mission of American Top Team Traditions states that it prides itself in building character and teaching the work ethic necessary to succeed in whatever endeavor students decide to pursue, and describes membership as being like a part of a family where staff will guide and assist students toward their goals. The organization reports that American Top Team Traditions has produced many skilled Black Belt martial artists and championship competitors over the years.

Larry Lam is listed as a martial arts instructor and part of the leadership team, and he owns Kickstudio in Saratoga, California. His credentials include over 25 years of martial arts experience at Black Belt level, 20-time NASKA Gold Medalist, NASKA Rookie of the Year, Top 10 NASKA Super-Lightweight Fighting, AKKF and IKKF Hall of Fame honors, and seven years as a professional international competitor. His background includes Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kickboxing, Boxing, Trapping, various Chinese and Japanese weaponry, fight choreography in “Hong Kong” style fights and reactions, featured performances in over 100 professional live shows and events, and training the Australian, Guatemalan, Jamaican, and Canadian National Teams.

Parent and student testimonials describe knowledgeable and professional instructors and staff, a family-like atmosphere, and instructors who know each child by name. One parent notes that two daughters who started at the dojo at age 9 are now second degree black belts after training with the Albrachts and their staff. Another long-term student reports training there for over two years and describes the academy as top notch, with clean facilities and welcoming students and staff.
