Backstage Academy of Dance

Backstage Academy of Dance offers classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Tumbling, Tumbling Tots, and Zumba. The program also includes combination classes such as Tot Hop/Tap, Ballet/Tap, Hip Hop/Tumble, Hip Hop/Jazz, as well as Dance with Me (Parent & little dancer) and Parent and Me, plus Latin Cardio for older participants. Backstage Academy of Dance offers classes for ages 1 1/2 through adult, teaching beginning to advanced levels, and also states that it caters to age 2 through adult at beginning to advanced levels.

Backstage Academy of Dance has been serving the Turlock area for over 25 years. The program’s stated goal is to provide the ultimate dance experience and to share a passion for dance in a fun, supportive, and positive environment for people of all ages and skill levels. The mission also states that participants are intended to have fun, learn, feel challenged, be inspired, be successful, gain self confidence, and be happy. One parent testimonial from Rick and Maureen Day notes that their daughters have been dancing at Backstage Academy of Dance since age 3, that over 10 years dance has taught them discipline, responsibility, and self esteem, and that their favorite time of year is being part of the Nutcracker.
