About
Gymnastics Unlimited Classes offers gymnastics, Ninja Zone training, tots gymnastics classes, Kindergym classes, boys and girls gymnastics classes, Ninja classes, and Starlight Classes that utilize gymnastics. The program includes activities such as flips, rolls, jumps, kicks, obstacle courses, and work on equipment like bars, balance beam, and trampoline. Gymfest is a voluntary annual event at the gym that serves as a celebration of children’s gymnastics accomplishments and a chance for children to perform for their family and friends.
• Ages: 1–11 years old
• Schedule: Class options are available on weekdays and Saturdays, with sessions such as a 40-minute Tots Class, a 50-minute weekly Kindergym class, and 55-minute weekly Boys and Girls Classes.
Children in the Tots Class, for ages 18 months to 3 years, take part in a 40-minute class that emphasizes activity, following directions, motor development, bonding with mom and dad, and learning while having fun, and it is approached in a very upbeat fashion to allow a positive attitude towards movement. Preschoolers in the Kindergym class attend a 50-minute class each week at the same time that starts with a warm-up to music, stretching, body positions, and static positions used in gymnastics, then move on to teaching stations such as bars, balance beam, or trampoline, with a program that develops gymnastics skills, fine tunes motor skills, improves listening skills, and teaches how to interact with coaches and peers. Boys and Girls Classes for ages 5 and up are gender specific, run 55 minutes each week at the same time, and teach skills on Olympic events while developing strength, agility, and flexibility. The Ninja Class is for students ages 5–11 years old and teaches a combination of flips, rolls, jumps, and kicks in the Ninja Zone training room, where strength and agility are tested through obstacle courses and various training techniques, and it uses a progressive level system that evaluates and advances ninjas on their skill and knowledge of core values as described in the NinjaZone creed. Starlight Classes are designed to provide a safe space for Neurodivergent and Special Needs children to utilize gymnastics while having fun building their overall strength, flexibility, and gross and motor skills.
The program’s mission statement says that children who participate in gymnastics have higher self-confidence, perseverance, patience, and discipline, and encourages families to give their child a leg up on life.
