Tustin Hills Racquet Club Tennis Programs offer tennis and pickleball, along with access to swim instruction led by a designated swim coach. Tustin Hills Racquet and Pickleball Club was established in 1958 and is described as the oldest and most prestigious private tennis club in Orange County. It features 8 championship tennis courts, 12 brand-new regulation pickleball courts, a gym, and a pool, and it hosts USTA events. The club includes a newly remodeled Legacy Ballroom and event areas that include tables and chairs, a bridal room, and outside space for guests and photo booth setups, and it allows outside vendors for events.
The tennis program is led by Director of Tennis Tim Pawsat, whose junior tennis career included 11 national championships and a CIF singles title, followed by a full tennis scholarship to USC, four-time All American honors, an NCAA doubles championship, and six years on the ATP tour with a career-high doubles ranking of 18 in the world, top 200 in singles, and 5 ATP doubles titles including the LA Open. The leadership team also includes Director of Pickleball Chico Bonner, pickleball pros Jim Zisk and Julie Shapiro, tennis pro Nicole Fouts, and swim coach Miss Teela. North Tustin Tennis states that its first goal is to teach beginners good fundamentals while they improve, compete, and enjoy tennis, and its second goal is to get players ready to play tournament and high school tennis.
Tustin Hills Racquet Club has been recognized as Best of Orange County 2024 for best pickleball court.
