Swim Lessons and Aquatics Programming offers swim lessons, aquatic programs, and youth Water Polo Camps and Clinics. The Water Polo Camps and Clinics are designed to teach youths the basics of water polo, and the Water Polo program offers kids a fun activity that promotes fitness, teamwork, and water safety. Swim lessons and aquatic programs are offered exclusively during the summer months of June through July.

On July 28th, 2024, the City of Union City Lifeguards competed in the Bay Area Public Pool Operators Association's (BAPPOA) Lifeguard Games, which featured 15 different cities and organizations with over 25 teams competing. July 28th, 2024 marked the first participation of the City of Union City Lifeguards in these games since 2005. Lifeguard Elle Ceaser secured third place out of 50 participants in the individual Active Victim Rescue Event at the 2024 BAPPOA Lifeguard Games.
