Union City Youth Soccer League creates a safe and exemplary environment for children and parents to enjoy soccer, with parents, coaches, volunteers, and players working together to create a positive impact in the community. The organization develops, promotes, and administers the game of soccer for the youth of Union City, California, and was formed for the express purpose of developing youth into skilled soccer participants while remaining dedicated to the advancement of competitive youth soccer. It provides competitive and recreational soccer leagues and tournaments for youth of all ages in Union City and adjoining communities, including Recreational Programs for ages 3–11 and Competitive Programs for ages 7–17.
UC Premier programs within the league are designed to provide outstanding youth players the opportunity to develop their individual and team skills against top competition. The club’s culture is centered on the needs of the player, and it states that it will provide a safe and supportive environment for every child. The organization supports the athletic development of each player, regardless of ability or background, for advancement in the game, in sports, and in life using recognized best practices, and it aims to nurture a love for the game, competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
