About

Vacaville Police Activities League brings youth under the supervision and positive influence of Vacaville Police Department staff. The program includes field trips, a Teen Leadership Council, and activities such as the City of Vacaville Neighborhood Clean-up. Participants may take part in cleaning up yard waste, laying rock and bark, mending fences, painting, and other similar projects, and families can also stay informed through Vacaville PAL's monthly newsletter.

• Ages: 7–18 years old

PAL is based on the conviction that if young people are reached early enough, they can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship. As part of the COV Connect program, volunteers, neighbors, and City staff work together in a local community cleaning up yard waste, laying rock and bark, mending fences, painting, and more. The program also expands public awareness about the role of a police officer and the reinforcement of responsible values and attitudes, and supplements young adults in their journey of becoming a leader through the Teen Leadership Council.
