Claudio's Martial Arts Youth Programs offers martial arts, judo, and Kids Fit activities. The program is part of the Greater Vallejo Recreation District, which organizes and manages sports programs for youth and adults, before and after-school programming, leisure classes, and a variety of special interest events. GVRD offers programs that benefit over 120,000 Vallejo residents of all ages each year.

The Greater Vallejo Recreation District was established on July 14, 1944. GVRD is an independent special district and a separate government agency from the City of Vallejo. It manages 407 acres of public park space, including 20 neighborhood parks, 10 community parks, 6 special-purpose parks, an Olympic-size swimming pool, and 4 community centers, and maintains over 1,000 acres of public land. GVRD partners with the City of Vallejo and National Academy of Athletics for the Mobile Recess Program. The Greater Vallejo Recreation District’s mission is to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles by providing safe parks and innovative and fun recreation programs for all residents.
