iSwim in 10 offers in home group swim lessons using a 2 week swim immersion method. The program uses the 10 day method with 10 classes that are 30 minutes each to teach children 3 1/2 and up to swim on their own. Each small group lesson includes three children per group and takes place in a private heated 90 degree pool.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: 10-day sessions held Monday–Friday over two weeks, with all sessions running in this 2-week format and lessons offered in the spring and summer
• Price: Cost $500 per child
Coach Brande LaHaye owns iSwim in 10 and is a certified water safety instructor with a degree in child development. iSwim in 10 states that the 10 day method is the fastest way to achieve water safety and confidence, giving children the ability to swim on their own. The program specializes in introducing the water and the concept of swimming to young new swimmers in a safe, compassionate way and serves North County, San Diego. Host pools are needed for the small group in home lessons, and children will not be able to enter the pool without a form.
