The Jim Herrick Swim School

Jim Herrick Swim School offers private lessons, one- or two-week immersion sessions, Parent & Me classes, a Summer Competitive Stroke Clinic, and a Pre-Competitive Swim Team. Private lessons are one-on-one, and Parent & Me classes are 30 minutes with up to an 8:1 ratio. The school is open year-round except lightning, and the weekly Parent & Me schedule varies based on demand and availability.

• Parent & Me — Infants to 2 years old · Weekly classes at varying times based upon demand and Swim School availability; 2026 weekly class schedule: Tuesday 11:00am, Wednesday 10:30am & 12:10pm, Thursday 11:00am, Friday 10:10am · $25 per class · 30-minute class; up to 8:1 ratio; pay-as-you-go; no registration fee required; reservations start exactly one week in advance
• Summer Competitive Stroke Clinic — Typically ages 6-11 · Two weekly lessons on Tuesday and Thursday over two consecutive weeks; offered from May through August · $200 per session
• Pre-Competitive Swim Team — Typically ages 5-10 · Pre-Swim team season runs from September through March; enrollment begins each year in mid-August · $50 per class
