Bronco Baseball Academy features specific games such as BashBall and Bronco Ball as part of its baseball activities. BashBall is a fast-paced, action-packed, competitive game that emphasizes hitting and fielding. Bronco Ball has been a Bronco Baseball Academy camp favorite since 2001. Children must be between 5–12 years old to attend Bronco Baseball Academy.

Bronco Baseball Academy was established in 2001. The program is directed by Ben Campopiano, Principal at Miramonte High School in Orinda and Owner/Operator of Bronco Baseball Academy. Before becoming Principal at Miramonte, he served as Principal at Pine Hollow Middle School in Concord from 2018 to 2021, and earlier as a Vice Principal, Social Studies teacher, Common Core Instructional Coach, and baseball coach at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek. He also served as the Director of Baseball Operations at Santa Clara University from 2011–2015. The leadership team includes Site Director Kevin Sullivan and Assistant Director Alec Read-Skyhawk.
Bronco Baseball Academy states that it is dedicated to providing comprehensive instruction to ballplayers of all skill and age levels and that it combines steady training of fundamentals and skill drills with fun, competitive games and events. The program states that, besides expert evaluation and training, players attending Bronco Baseball Academy can expect to have fun, improve their skills, and learn how to compete at the highest levels.
The Joe Dawson Memorial Scholarship fund was created in memory of Joe Dawson, a longtime supporter of the Northgate community, youth baseball, and local families in need. Recipients of the Joe Dawson Memorial Scholarship receive one week of Bronco Baseball Academy at no charge and all the necessary equipment for camp and their summer baseball needs. The Joe Dawson Memorial Scholarship application process is open to all local families once per child, per summer.
