Excel Camps offers day camps and junior camps that focus on a full day of basketball. Campers take part in skill development, gameplay, and competition during these sessions. Day camps are available for grades 2–9, and Junior Camps are available for grades K–3.

Excel Camps has been building better basketball players since 1981. One camper, Greg St. Jean, now an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Lakers, describes Excel as part of his foundation as a player and coach and calls it the best basketball camp in the country, with an emphasis on fundamentals and creating habits. Another long-time camper, Makenize M., credits Excel Shooting Camp with teaching her shooting fundamentals that helped her make the JV team at Carondelet High School. A parent, Tayna W., thanks the camp for what she calls the best summer camp experience for her girls and mentions that the story told about Cindy Lowe was very touching and that she hopes the kids will aspire to model the same values.
