Sonder Creek Academy (SCA), which runs SCA Summer Camp, is a private, independent Kindergarten through 8th Grade school that offers a challenging, engaging program in a supportive, diverse, and welcoming community. The school operates as one school with three campuses (K–1st Grade, 2nd–4th Grade, 5th–8th Grade), provides a complimentary campus-to-campus shuttle, offers an extended school day with early and after care options, has an International Lunch Program with chef-prepared dishes from around the world, and offers Parent Cooking Classes during the year in the Sonder Kitchen.

Families are asked to send each camper with a labeled bag or backpack containing a packed lunch, a labeled water or drink bottle, and two snacks per day, with no glass containers. Sunscreen should be applied before arrival, and the camp provides sunscreen before and after water play each day. For water activities, campers need a swimsuit, towel, and sandals or flip flops; students may arrive in bathing suits, and changing rooms are available. Toys and playing or trading cards are allowed but are brought at the camper’s own risk, and spray bottles and small portable fans are allowed. All personal items should be labeled, snow cones and otter pops are often given as extra snacks unless a parent informs the camp otherwise, and an extra change of clothes is requested for Kindergarten and First Grade campers.
