Castle Rock Arabians Camps & Riding Lessons offers school year camps, summer camps, and day camps, with selected overnight camps for advanced riders. The program includes group rides in 22 wilderness areas, lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels, private lessons, and an apprenticeship program.

• Price: $150 for a single day; $650 for a five-day camp week; and in-between prices for two, three, or four-day camp weeks
Castle Rock Arabians Camps & Riding Lessons is a family-owned and operated ranch that has been developing equestrians since 1971 and has expanded its operation to an additional 10 acres, including 2 riding arenas. The program operates Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from September through May, and Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from June through August. Owner Nancy Dupont and Manager and Head Instructor Rebeca Mendez lead the program, and Rebeca is CHA Certified with a 3rd level CHA certificate. Nancy Dupont works closely with organizations such as the Diablo Arabian Horse Association, The Amigos De Anza Equestrian Drill Team, The Equestrian Center of Walnut Creek, and the East Bay Regional Parks District, and in the late 1990s she formed a partnership with the East Bay Regional Park District to expand the operation to the additional 10 acres and 2 riding arenas that are presently used for day camps with selected overnight camps for advanced riders. The program’s stated mission is to provide lessons for riders of all ages and experience levels, whether a beginner learning to walk, trot, and canter or an advanced rider looking to improve equitation.
