10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Walnut Creek Youth Programs offers No Gi Jiu Jitsu, striking, boxing, Muay Thai, takedowns, wall work, cage control, and grappling for young students. Tiny Tigers is for ages 4–6 and uses a general physical preparedness approach with a base in both striking and grappling, with partner interactions and games that are grappling focused. Kids Jiu Jitsu is a 10th Planet No-Gi Jiu Jitsu program for kids, with classes for age 7 and up and a separate class for ages 10 and up. Kids Striking is a boxing and Muay Thai based striking program that includes takedowns and defense, with classes for age 7 and up, and a Striking for MMA class adds takedowns, wall work, and cage control relevant to MMA and encourages training at least three times a week due to high technical demands.
